World Health Day

Living a healthy life is the right of every individual, but staying healthy throughout life needs a lot of effort, sometimes it’s impossible (in case of genetic disorders).

But keeping humanity, help in fighting decease or a problem, keeps individuals happy, which further enhances chances of survival and healthy life. If you want to stay healthy- keep your life simple- include good eating habits, do regular simple exercises, help people around as much as possible, keep good relationships with your friends and family, avoid unwanted stress, avoid distressing people, leave cheaters, forget grudges, follow the advice of experienced person, don’t take decisions in emotion and do everything which gives you satisfaction.

Recently I have noticed people – running to find happiness and peace. The fact is happiness and peace both reside within the person. Which is depends on the degree of satisfaction you are having in day-to-day life.

Most people are not satisfied with their life & further leads to unhappiness. Why I am talking about all this – on the occasion of World Health Day- is because your happy life keeps you healthy. So better term is your satisfactory life keep you healthy. You should not compare yourself with others ( including your partner) because everyone is different. Find difference & work on it.

Satisfaction can be related to the workplace, relationship, familial, financial or emotional, etc. – the fact is most of the time our extra expectations – create extra demands which difficult to fulfil or meet. Expectations from other (mostly from parents or partners) creates emotional instability.

Intelligent people usually don’t expect from others, if they, they react too much and they keep the balance between personal and professional life.

In all these situations- chronic diseases like diabetes mellitus, and hypertension (most common), the depression worsened.

Humans are emotional creatures- despite having a lot of technology and intelligence when a crisis occurs, even intelligent people make decisions emotionally not intelligently.

This fact will remain to stay with humans. Now the question is if everyone is the same in crisis then why do different people make different decisions?? The answer is intelligent people keep their plan ready for an expected crisis, they avoid crisis, they do all possible things so the problem doesn’t occur even if they occur then they know what to do. That is known as crisis planning.

This concept is well applicable to health also, to avoid life-threatening emergencies keep measuring your health parameters as recommended.

I am very sure every unnatural death is preventable, important is by keeping yourself healthy. If you are having any chronic illness like DM, HTN, COPD – keep your life disciplined (avoid risky diet environment and emotions)

Preventable deaths or Unexpected deaths occurred by road accidents among our young people. Are these deaths are really preventable??

The answer is YES – first, you should think about possible causes of risk of death or accidents. Follow then instructions on road safety ( wear helmets, fasten seat belt, don’t drink & drive, drive slow, follow traffic rules, etc) Learn techniques how to help others so others can save you also. Help victims transfer to the hospital as soon as possible.

An NGO called – Prevent Preventable Deaths ( PPD) foundation provides training to young graduates, police, and health care providers- on how to increase the possibilities of saving life on the roadside and help them in reaching the hospital. (Join them voluntarily if you wanted to save more lives)

Wish you a healthy and safe life.

Help people irrespective of their expectations and conditions.

Thank you
